This life size work in bronze expresses the loyalty and devotion of a Military Service dog to his fallen master. Originally commissioned for a Veteran’s Memorial Park, this bronze life-size sculpture is available for placement in other honorary parks. The mission of the sculpture is to honor the many canine service animals that have demonstrated such brave dedication and unwavering loyalty to their human charges, both in times of war and times of healing. The grief and loss is evident in the eyes of the dog, and his extended paw reaching out to his fallen friend, and hero. The title, “My Hero, My Friend”, expresses the mutual admiration that both had for each other in life. “My sincere hope is that this sculpture touches your heart, and brings a tear to your eye.
